John Cochrane’s family have been dairy farmers for six generations, now producing some of the country’s finest cheeses from our own local Kenilworth Dairy. His team of Cheese makers are a talented group of craftspeople, passionate about making fine dairy products. The Kenilworth moto is quality cheese requires quality ingredients and the best cow’s milk. Their award-winning Premium Vintage Cheddar features in most of our hampers because quite frankly, it is udderly delicious!
Based in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Woombye cheese is 100% family owned and their passion is to create award winning cheese by hand using traditional methods with ultimate care are experience. The triple cream brie features a delicate white bloom on the outside and hides a deliciously rich and creamy centre. Local milk and extra cream create an exquisite masterpiece that has become one of their most popular cheeses.
We are so lucky to have a company such as Ugly Duck Preserves located on the Sunshine Coast. Their motto is that food should not be wasted, and they therefore source fresh ingredients farm direct, gathering up their imperfect and surplus produce. To Ugly Duck, the taste and freshness of their ingredients are the only qualities that matter, odd shapes and sizes don’t. The result? Exquisite taste derived by an appreciation of fruit grown perfectly in flavour but imperfectly in shape. All products are cooked from scratch in small batches, no nasties, no preservatives and absolutely no artificial flavours. Paired perfectly in our hampers with local cheeses.
Julie and Sandy Cameron’s family owned business produce high quality, handcrafted goat and sheep milk products with a strong commitment to sustainable farming principles. The delicious goat’s cheese we have chosen for our hampers is infused in a bold marinade of olive oil, garlic, thyme and peppercorns. A delicious creamy melt in your mouth cheese will hero on any antipasto board.
When four Sunshine Coast macadamia growers passionate about their product founded Nutworks in 1993 their idea was to create a central facility purpose-built to crack and sort the region’s finest macadamias for supply to local business. Always a favourite for nibbles at cocktail hour, we’ve chosen three different flavours to compliment your favourite wine or bubbles.
Kokopod’s founder, local woman Brigid Woolnough, has a self-confessed obsession with fine European chocolate. Based on the Sunshine Coast, her team are constantly working to develop & perfect new & innovative ideas with a focus on quality & attention to detail through pairing the best of what Switzerland has to offer in couverture with the best flavours in Australian produce. It's bold, fresh & handcrafted to perfection. We have chosen the delectable leatherwood honeycomb milk chocolate to pair with our bubbles hamper, whilst the smokey black dark chocolate is a perfect addition to any antipasto board.
Throughout their twenty-year history, The Fine Cheese Co has sought, cared for and lovingly hand-made cheese, and throughout this journey they have also made it their business to know what flatters cheese by introducing a unique range of crackers. They have taken this knowledge and carefully selected the perfect cracker to pair with the cheese and accompaniment within each hamper. A salty cracker compliments our white wine and sparkling hamper with the pear and pepper paste, while the mild hint of chilli enhances the red wine palate with undertones of plum.
Founded in 1992, by Kay Wormwell, Mother Megs is named after her grandmother. Located in the heart of the Queensland Darling Downs, Mother Megs continue to remain loyal to the unique and traditional family recipes handed down, using premium ingredients and traditional baking methods. We even learned their bakers take the traditional methods to the point of cracking every free-range egg by hand! We and have chosen savoury and sweet options to compliment your hamper of choice.
The consummate cook and self-confessed “foodie”, Melanie Collingwood-Boots entered a selection of her locally grown, homemade produce into a local “Food and Wine Show” coming away with first prizes in all categories she entered, with accolades from the judges for the “best products in the show”. Her award-winning Sticky Fig for Cheese is a clear winner on any cheese board and pairs beautifully with our Woombye Triple Crème Brie.
Pastry chef Monette Bizzarri established Bizarri Dolci 14 years ago in pursuit of her love for baking. Monette’s philosophy is simple - create handmade biscuits and other baked delights with natural and fresh ingredients so they taste like they should. Monette trained as a chef in Melbourne, beginning her apprenticeship when she was 16 years old, however after further studying under the French master Michel Roux, she realised her dream of doing what she loved in a business of her own. We’ve chosen the handmade lavosh which compliments any cheese & accompaniment whilst the peppery cheddars are buttery flavour explosion.
Bills Beetroot Relish and Caroline’s Caramelized Onion Jam originated in Tasmania in 2002 and was born from a passion of family and being close to loved ones! Bill and Caroline’s story saw them load up the family in Sydney and had them land in Tasmania venturing into the world of gourmet food. We love the sweetness of the beetroot marmalade and how it marries perfectly with the Meredith Goats Cheese while the onion jam, in our opinion, is without doubt the best you will ever experience.
Ogilvie and Co handmake their products using the finest ingredients sourced locally wherever possible; use traditional recipes and preserving methods and use no artificial colourings or preservatives. The result? A stunning range of gourmet products perfectly placed to enhance any of our antipasto or savoury hampers.
